Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

What is CPD?

Undertaking CPD ensures that you continue to be proficient and competent in your profession whilst enabling you to learn new and essential skills that can help you progress throughout your career.

As a professionally active Member of the TES, you are required to undertake and record at least 30 hours of CPD per calendar year (or at least 10 hours if partially active) under the TES Rules of Conduct. Those who are professionally registered are also required to follow the Engineering Council’s CPD Code.

You may also be selected to provide written evidence of your CPD activities from the previous year as part of our annual mandatory CPD audit.
